About Joy

I wish we could sit down together over a cup of coffee (or whatever your favorite drink might be) and simply visit for a while. We'd share stories about our families, talk about the little moments that make life meaningful, and get to know one another. While we may never meet around my kitchen table, that's the feeling I hope you'll find here at Memory Mosaic.

I'm Joy, the designer behind Memory Mosaic.

For more than thirty years, my family and I served as missionaries in Ecuador, where I learned that life's richest treasures are often found in the simplest moments. A shared meal. A family tradition. A conversation on a front porch. A photograph tucked inside an old Bible. The everyday moments that quietly become the stories of our lives.

Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but also why Memory Mosaic exists.

I believe every life is a beautiful mosaic, built one ordinary moment at a time. My hope is to encourage you to notice those moments, preserve their stories, and celebrate the people you love—whether through memory keeping, creativity, family traditions, or simply slowing down long enough to appreciate today.

When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me spending time with family, creating in the kitchen or the studio, serving in children's ministry, or enjoying a quiet afternoon with a good cup of coffee.

I'm so glad you're here.

Come in, stay awhile, and let's celebrate the stories that make every life a beautiful mosaic.
